Cardiac Nutrition Class

When: First Friday of each month 1:00-2:30 pm
Where: Sparrow Professional Building Conference and Education Room; Lower Level

Class will include:
An overview of the relationship between diet and heart disease.  Our dietitian will review Heart-smart eating based on the American Heart Association and MyPlate Guidelines.  Heart Healthy recipes and meal ideas will be discussed.

Pulmonary Nutrition

When:  Class is offered twice a month (Please contact Sarah Heinz for specific dates)
Where:  Senior Health Center, 3rd floor conference room

Class Overview:
During outpatient pulmonary rehab, patients and their primary caregiver are encouraged to attend the nutrition class to define the importance of healthy eating and how it relates to their pulmonary function.
