Updated information on COVID-19 and Flu: Restricted visitation is now in effect

General Visitor Guidelines:

General visiting hours: Every day 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Two visitors are permitted at the bedside. Exceptions may be made for children or critically/terminally ill patients. Visitors under the age of 12 are discouraged from visiting patients and must be cleared by the nursing staff before entering a patient's room. Visitors under the age of 12 must be supervised at all times.

Special Care Patients:

Immediate family members may visit for 15 minutes every hour. Visitation is limited to two visitors at the bedside. Children younger than 15 years are not permitted except at the discretion of the physician/nurse. No visitors during shift changes at 7 - 8 a.m. and 7 - 8 p.m.

Hospice/Respite/Swing Bed/Sub Acute Patients:

Visitors are allowed 24 hours per day. All family members are allowed to visit. Arrangements can be made for family members to spend the night and eat meals with the patient. Pets may be allowed to visit the patient - please clear these visits with the nurse prior to bringing a pet.

Overnight Visitors:

Family members may remain with a critically ill patient overnight. A pillow and blanket will be provided. The family members may sleep in the lounge area near the unit. Under special circumstances, one member may sleep in a recliner in the patient's room with approval from the nurse.

Emergency Room Visitors:

One person is allowed to wait with a patient in the treatment room. This visitor must stay at the bedside. If the department becomes full or if a caregiver feels the patient may need privacy, the visitor may be asked to return to the waiting area. In consideration of our critically ill patients, no child age 12 or younger may visit a patient without special permission from the charge nurse.
